The first was the small stockpile of mixed topsoil located in the area previously referred to as the
Johson Property Stockpile Storage Area. The stockpile is well vegetated for stability and surrounded by a ring
berm to prevent material transport. The stockpile is in excellent condition and can be seen in Photo Six. The other
two stockpiles located near the backfill area are a stockpile of Bench 1 material and a topsoil stockpile located
near Pond 12. The Bench 1 material was recently used in the backfill efforts, and thus has more limited vegetative
cover. The stockpile is stable, despite the sparse cover and in good condition. The Bench 1 stockpile can be seen
in Photo Seven. The adjacent Topsoil stockpile is well vegetated for stability and surrounded by a ring berm to
prevent erosion. The stockpile appeared stable and no evidence of erosion was noted. Photo Eight shows the
Topsoil stockpile.
PHOTOGRAPHS
n ,4
Photo One: View Northeast, showing the footprint of Pond 12.
