8
Exhibit E
Reclamation Plan
The plan of reclamation is to never have more than 33.5 acres disturbed, and begin reclamation
to keep the cost of the bond and the disturbed area to a minimum. We will first work out of the
mining area A East by removing stockpiles as they sell, and begin reclamation in 10 acre
increments east to west.
Timeline of Reclamation Area to be Worked
Mining Area A East 33.5 Acres For approximately 12-24 months
this area will continue to be
mined for gravel and aggregates.
Stockpiles are located along the
eastern section of the disturbed
area.
Mining Area A West 25.5 Acres Once Stockpiles have been
diminished in the Mining Area A
East, mining activity will move
into the Mining Area A West, and
reclamation will begin moving
from east to west in
approximately 10 acres section.
Mining activity in Mining Area A
West would take 2-3 years at the
current rate of sales and
production.
Mining Area B 16 Acres Mining activity in Area B will not
begin for several years, upon the
movement of stockpiled
materials from Area A West and
commencement of reclamation
activity on that parcel.
Extraction from Exhibit E page 6 of Four X Ranch Gravel Pit application:
"The affected land will be partially reclaimed when approximately fifty percent of the" Mining
Areas listed above "have been mined. The remaining portion of the land will be reclaimed upon
completion of the site for mining purposes. Reclamation of the land back to sustainable
rangeland is a priority of the owner/operator as each acre of reclaimed rangeland provides an
incremental increase in grazeable acreage.
The maximum gradient of reclaimed slopes will be 3:1. Any waste rock will be used in grading
final slopes for reclamation.
Four(4)to 6 inches of topsoil is currently present on the site and will be stripped, stockpiled,
and covered with manure to minimize erosion.
The quality and fertility of stockpiled soil will not have changed significantly during stockpiling,
however amendments will be applied if soil testing indicates nutrient deficiencies."
Four X Ranch Gravel Pit amendment
