Please indicate on the map using different colors for each of the following items: <br />a. Current affected area <br />b. Proposed 50 acre addition <br />c. Please add topography, i.e. elevation contours on the map. <br /> <br />Rule 6.4.4 Exhibit D: It is stated that mining will begin in Phase I, however in the timetable mining in Phase <br />I took place in 2014-2015. According to the timetable it appears that phases VI and VII are the mining <br />phases pertinent to this request for additional acreage. <br />6. Please verify and update the mine plan narrative accordingly and resubmit the text. <br />7. Please locate topsoil stockpiles on the Mine Plan Map. <br />8. In addition to soil stockpiles please discuss any overburden stockpiles in thre text and resubmit the <br />exhibit in its entirety. <br />9. Utilizing fines was mentioned in the text. Please state where you will obtain any fines utilized in the <br />reclamation of the site and the associated cost of procurement. <br />10. Please describe the mining sequence (what size increments will be in mining, reclamation, <br />revegetated at any one time). Resubmitt the Exhibit in its entirety. <br />11. Please explain how dust will be suppressed. <br /> <br />Rule 6.4.5 Exhibit E Reclamation Plan. <br />12. Part V of the reclamation plan indicates that water will be available for tree planting. Please inform <br />DRMS what the source and cost, if any for this, water is. <br />13. There was no mention of final grading of the site upon completion of mining. Please discuss the <br />grading plan and resubmit the Exhibit in its entirety. <br />14. As the current land use is Industioal Commercial and the post mining land use is suggested as <br />Rangeland, please provide a comparison of the proposed post-mining land use to other land uses in the <br />vicinity and to adopted state and local land use plans and programs. <br />15. Please provide an estimate of the periods of time which will be required for the various stages or <br />phases of reclamation i.e. <br />a. Backfill and grading <br />b. Placing topsoil <br />c. Discing and mulching and seeding <br />16. What is the size of the Phase V and Phase VI areas? Please incorporate the acreages for the <br />reclamation phases into the reclamation plan as well as the Reclamation Plan Map and resubmit the Exhibits <br />in their entirety. <br />17. In the text please specify maximum anticipated slope gradient or expected slope ranges. <br />18. Please submit slope, distaces for hauling topsoil from berm to highwall. <br />19. Please submit highwall height to be reclaimed. <br />20. Please submit volumes of topsoil required for reclamation of the pit and highwall and resubmit <br />Exhibit in its entirety. <br /> <br />Rule 6.4.7 Exhibit G Water Information <br />21. Submit a brief statement or plan showing how water from from runoff from disturbed areas, piled <br />material and operating surfaces will be managed to protect against pollution of either surface or groundwater <br />and, where applicable, control pollution in a manner that is consistent with water quality discharge permits, <br />both during and after the operation. <br />22. Please provide an estimate of the project water requirements including flow rates and annual <br />volumes for the development, mining and reclamation phases of the project from each water source supplying <br />the project water requirements. Resubmitt the Exhibit in its entirety.
