BEFORE THE MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br /> STATE OF COLORADO <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW,AND ORDER <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE NOTICE OF RESUMPTION OF MINING <br /> FILED BY THORIN RESOURCES, LLC, File No. M-2012-032 <br /> THIS MATTER came before the Mined Land Reclamation Board ("Board") as a <br /> consent item on January 17, 2024, to consider the notice of resumption of mining <br /> filed by Thorin Resources, LLC ("Operator"), file number M-2012-032 ("permit"). <br /> The Board, having considered the materials presented with this consent <br /> agenda item and having been otherwise fully informed of the facts in the matter, <br /> enters the following: <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 1. Operator holds a 112(d) reclamation permit for an underground silver <br /> operation. The site is known as the Revenue Mine and is located in Ouray County, <br /> Township 43 North, Range 8 West, Section 21, loth Principal Meridian. <br /> 2. The prior operator, Ouray Silver Mines, filed a Notice of Temporary <br /> Cessation that was approved by the Board as a consent item during its November <br /> 16, 2022 meeting. <br /> 3. On December 13, 2023, the Division approved the Succession of <br /> Operator and Transfer of Minerals Permit filed by Thorin Resources, LLC. <br /> 4. On December 28, 2023, Operator filed a request to exit temporary <br /> cessation and resume mining. <br /> 5. The Division has indicated that the permit is in good standing. The <br /> Division does not oppose the notice to resume mining operation and does not oppose <br /> changing the status of the permit to active from temporary cessation. <br /> CONCLUSIONS OF LAW <br /> 6. The Board has jurisdiction over this matter pursuant to the Mined <br /> Land Reclamation Act, Article 32 of Title 34, C.R.S. ("Act"). <br />
