The pit site was <br /> walked and Google Earth plus NAIP images were used to look for erosional features such <br /> as gullies and cuts that originate on the pit and end in the drainages. None were found. <br /> The hydrologic balance should be similar to the last 60 years of the pit's existence. <br /> Commodities and Products(m, n, and o) <br /> On-site processing(m) <br /> In a general sense there will be no processing of product on site,other than sorting and <br /> grading. It is possible that in the future some rock may be crushed (e.g.. portable <br /> facility). The products will be mined, sorted by size and use, stockpiled, and hauled to <br /> the location of usage. <br /> Primary Products(n-o) <br /> 1. Limestone cobble from the north slope. Use: hardening of waterways, stream <br /> restoration projects, and possibly on the Twin Buttes roads. <br /> 2. Sandstone gravels and rock with some soil, sharp and angular, size range 1-12 <br /> inches on B axis. Use: fill, road base, construction, and projects on the Twin <br /> Buttes property. <br /> 3. Sandstone, 12+ up to 36 inches on the B axis. Use: rip-rap lining waterways <br /> above waterline and irrigation projects, construction, rock walls and stabilization <br /> of structures. <br /> 4. Sandstone, 36+ inches, similar to number 3. <br /> Secondary Products(n-o) <br /> 1. Overburden may be hauled off site and utilized for fill, roads, pond lining, and <br /> various construction projects. <br /> Incidental Products(o) <br /> There are no foreseen incidental products. <br /> Explosives (p) <br /> Explosives will not be used in the foreseeable future. If they are to be used at some <br /> future date,a Geotechnical Stability Exhibit will be prepared to fulfill the requirements. <br />
