3. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged,stockpiled and <br /> redistributed for the re-establishment of vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil <br /> redistribution depth: <br /> Native topsoil ranges in depth from less than one inch to eight inches. When an area is <br /> leveled, the salvaged topsoil will be stocKpiled near or within the tootpnnt of the drill <br /> pad or road access. The topsoil will be replaced upon completion of drilling and <br /> commencement of reclamation. <br /> 4. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required <br /> abandonment procedures): <br /> Drill holes will be immediately abandoned upon completion of data collection. <br /> Abandonment reports will be submitted to the Division within 12 months of <br /> abandonment. Holes will be abandoned in accordance with Rule 5.4.2_ Water <br /> producing zones will be sealed according to Division regulations. Cement will be placed <br /> in the Bottum 70% of edcl r I pole or to tl ie tup of Elle mineralized unit, whirl lever is <br /> greater thickness. Bentonite will be used above the cemented portion to fill the <br /> remaining depth. A surface cap will be placed with a metal washer that is stamped with <br /> the drill hole number. <br /> 5. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be <br /> reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for specific reclamation performance standards). <br /> You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br /> The drill pad and access trails/roads will be re-contoured to original topography, <br /> compacted and prepared tor final reclamation by replacing the salvaged topsoil to an <br /> average depth of four inches.
