comment, and approval by the Owner. The quality assurance plan shall <br /> include, at a minimum, the following: <br /> i) Procedures that will be used to provide horizontal and <br /> vertical control and measure and record the excavation limits and <br /> geometry of the liner and other zones within the slope. <br /> ii) Descriptions of the field and laboratory tests that will be <br /> performed and the frequency of each type of test. <br /> iii) Actions to be taken if unsatisfactory material or workmanship <br /> is discovered in the installation. <br /> iv) Qualifications of field and office personnel that will perform <br /> the quality control. <br /> v) Extent of involvement of the design engineer or <br /> representative thereof in the field during construction (full or part <br /> time). <br /> iv. Owner shall have the right to observe and document any portion of the <br /> liner, slope, or other construction and to perform field tests at Owner's expense <br /> to confirm conformance to approved design documents at any time during the <br /> performance of the work. <br /> V. Contractor shall provide interim written quality control observation reports <br /> and results of field and laboratory tests at least monthly during construction of the <br /> slopes and liner. Owner may also have a representative present at any meetings <br /> between Contractor and its consultants or contractors relating to the construction <br /> of the slopes and liner, and Contractor shall notify Owner of any such meetings <br /> at least twenty-four(24) hours prior to the time of the meeting. <br /> vi. A final completion report prepared by a Colorado registered engineer <br /> confirming that each cell and al/ fill placed and other parts the completed work <br /> was completed in accordance with the plans and specifications shall be provided <br /> to Owner within sixty (60) days after completion of slopes and liner. The final <br /> completion report shall include at a minimum the following: <br /> a) A plan drawing that shows the as-constructed final ground surface <br /> topography of the site at a scale of I inch equals 50 feet and at a contour <br /> interval of I foot <br /> b) A profile drawing that shows the as-constructed top and bottom <br /> elevation of the clay liner and, key depth into bedrock. <br /> Construction Agreement—Zadel(v.4-24-08) <br />
