Retainage. If the project exceeds $150,000.00, 5% retainage will be withheld until the project <br /> has been satisfactorily completed. Notice of Contractor's Settlement will be advertised via <br /> electronic media on the Colorado VSS website. <br /> GENERAL BID SPECIFICATIONS <br /> The Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program, General Bid Specifications 2009 which <br /> include General Conditions for Construction, Standard Work Specifications, and Standard <br /> Drawings and Figures are intended to complement these Special Conditions. Please refer to the <br /> Standard Work Specifications for all applicable types of work required in the Special Conditions. <br /> The General Conditions of the Contract apply to all work covered in the Special Conditions. <br /> PROJECT DATES <br /> The project is scheduled for construction between Tuesday, September 26t", 2023 and <br /> Wednesday, October 25t", 2023. This includes ten (10) days mobilization time. These dates are <br /> tentative and may change. <br /> TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> The time of completion allowed for the project is 30 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to <br /> Proceed. This includes ten (10) days mobilization time. <br /> NOTICE OF AWARD AND EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS <br /> A Notice of Award will be sent to the apparent low bidder within a reasonable time following the <br /> bid submission deadline. The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety must receive the <br /> following by the date specified in the award letter: <br /> (a) Executed Agreement, if required; <br /> (b) Fully-executed Performance and Payment Bonds, accompanied by <br /> appropriate Power of Attorney, if required; <br /> (c) Certificates of Insurance showing proof of required coverage and Additional <br /> Insured Endorsement; <br /> (d) Project Schedule; <br /> (e) AML Contractor Ownership and Control Form, if required; <br /> (f) Three-Way Agreement for Reclamation Activities, if required; <br /> (g) A list of all subcontractors to be used on the project, if they are a woman <br /> owned (WBE) or minority owned (MBE) business enterprise, the work tasks, <br /> and dollar value to be subcontracted to each; <br /> (h) Completed W-9 form, (for contractors new to the State); <br /> (i) Completed EFT Form- required as of 4/15/2018. <br /> Please consult Articles 2-7 of the General Conditions. <br /> Page 6 of 16 <br /> 7/23/23 <br />
