Impact area is low quality habitat as far as large animal support.
Some short term displacement of a few species should cause little problem since there
is an abundance of available surrounding habitat of the same type. Availability of food
and water should not be affected for the species occupying the 9.5 acre site.
eclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration
:signed).
Proposed reclamation procedures should suffice. 'I would recommend a slope of no
more than 3:1 to prevent erosion on ground that is difficult to grow on. Once
reclamation vegetation is started the land should recover fully. I would like to see
a seed mixture of native vegetation to this area so that regrowth may begin before
erosion has a chance to destroy reclamation efforts. Stored topsoil may need a little
fertilizer when replaced over affected areas.
STATE OF COLORADO
DM&ON OF WR.DM
2120 North weber St"
Colorado SOW,Cobado WW
. a"ed by: Stanley Abel,_ DWM , Date: 10-17-85
BV: Ernest Kaska, Wildlife Biologist 12 Date_ 10-22-85
_ c7 is void is rot j::+; Lithin 1 vear.
_ _ :-a 1--sBtdMftlkTsBRtCKdhh", ILF;Gb;4 E@MWIjSOM(UzAY MINE NOVEMBER 2023
