STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN MORRISON QUARRY <br /> REVISION NO.8 1 August 2022 CERTIFICATION NO.COG500320 <br /> settle before discharge. The stormwater retention ponds at Outfalls 001 and 005 were <br /> installed according to plans drawn by a consultant. <br /> • Check Dams - The check dams help direct stormwater to the stormwater retention <br /> ponds and slow down flow from the haul road to the retention ponds. Check dams <br /> are installed according to the Colorado Department of Transportation Erosion Control <br /> Manual. This is available in the facility's Stormwater Binder in Appendix J. <br /> • Truck Wheel Wash -The truck wheel wash area is a closed loop system that recycles <br /> wash water. Truck tires are sprayed with water as they travel through the truck wash. <br /> 4.7 SECTOR SPECIFIC PRACTICE-BASED EFFLUENT LIMITS <br /> These measures are defined in the permit Part I.P.2. <br /> • Good housekeeping is described in Section 4.2 of this SWMP. <br /> • Sweeping frequency is described in Section 4.12 of this SWMP. <br /> • Minimize exposure is defined in Section 4.1 of this SWMP. <br /> 4.8 SALT PILE STORAGE AREAS <br /> There are no salt pile storage areas on-site. <br /> 4.9 EMPLOYEE TRAINING <br /> Training will be provided on the components and goals of the SWMP to key personnel on <br /> an annual basis. An example SWMP training program is included in Appendix B. Training <br /> will be provided to continuing employees at least once a year. New employees shall <br /> receive training as soon as possible. Contractors working onsite will be advised of, and <br /> required to comply with, applicable components of the SWMP. At a minimum the <br /> following employees shall be trained: <br /> • Employee(s) overseeing implementation of, revising and amending the SWMP; <br /> • Employee(s) performing installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of control <br /> measures; <br /> • Employee(s) who work in areas of industrial activity subject to this permit; and <br /> • Employee(s) who conduct inspection as defined in Section 5 of this SWMP. <br /> At a minimum training shall cover the following: <br /> • Introduction to the permit <br /> 19 <br />
