ENSERO Page
Proposal for Schwartzwalder Mine Site Operation
• Reasonably anticipated consumable and repair costs, and
• Project administrative costs (e.g. utilities, health and safety oversight including radiological occupational
monitoring,project management,regulatory inspections with DRMS,etc.)
The work would begin no later than May 1, 2023 and consist of de-winterizing the equipment and preparing the
WTP for operations. The average refill rate predicts the warning level will be reached on April 1,2023.The warning
level of 175-feet below the Steve adit is used to notify operators and management the mine pool is approaching the
permit level of 150-feet below the Steve adit, and preparations for the resumption of treatment should be initiated.
The May 1 start date will allow operators to prepare to restart the WTP in time to maintain compliance with the
permit level which protects water quality in Ralston Creek. Ensero anticipates discharging water from the WTP
beginning in June 2023. The proposed price to perform this work assumes WTP operations from May 2023 to
September 2023 with two weeks on each end to de-winterize and to re-winterize.
Task 2—Water Treatment Plant Monitoring
The discharge permit(Colorado Discharge Permit#CO-0001244)associated with the WTP requires daily and monthly
monitoring. A summary of those requirements include:
• Monthly water quality monitoring of Ralston Creek, when water is flowing, at the upstream and
downstream locations. Samples results are reported to CDPHE within 7-days of calendar receipt.
• Daily WTP Performance monitoring in accordance with the CDPHE discharge permit. Sample results are
reported electronically through the NetDMR website portal.
The estimate price for this work is provided in Table 1 and includes the labor, equipment, supplies, analytical costs,
and project administration costs.
Price Estimate
Table 1 below summarizes the total value for each task along with the number of project management hours and
onsite staffing hours. The estimated price listed in Table 1 is the time and materials not to exceed value. The basis
of estimate for this proposed pricing is detailed in the notes section.
Table 1-Summary of Costs and Manhours
Task Name and Number Estimated Total Number of Total Number of Project
Price Staff Hours Management Hours
Task 1 Water Treatment $317,284.66 1,517 168
Task 2 Water Treatment Monitoring $73,171.37 208 10
Subtotal $390,456.03 1,725 178
Performance Bond(2%of total) $7,809.12 - -
Total $398,265.15 1,72S 178
Pricing Basis of Estimate:
• Project administration costs (e.g. utilities, health and safety oversight including radiological occupational
monitoring, project management, regulatory inspections with DRMS, etc.) are proportionally distributed
among the tasks, therefore this proposal price is contingent upon full award of all tasks.
• Work begins by May 1,2023 and concludes on site by mid-October,2023.
