the previous cutting has reached bed rock. Water was held in EP1 and EP2. EP1 was discharging through the <br />trickle tube as designed and flowing into Reach 1 of the FEPD. The FEPD remains in an unchanged condition and <br />successfully directs all surface runoff to the South Collection Ditch. The South Collection Ditch remains stable <br />with no issues. <br /> <br />Construction of the Section 15 Ditch and Section 15 Pond which was approved with TR-158 were ongoing. The <br />new ditch and pond will help collect surface runoff upslope from the Final East Pit Ditch and relieve some of the <br />surface flows that are currently flow to it. The Section 15 Pond disturbance boundary was inspected with no <br />issues. Colowyo representative stated that after the construction of Section 15 Ditch and Pond, that the <br />maintenance to the Final East Pit Ditch will be conducted along with the additional stock tanks that were approved <br />under TR-158. <br /> <br />Section 15 Pond construction. <br />The Streeter and Prospect Pond were inspected from Highway 13. Both ponds remain stable. Prospect Pond was <br />being dredged during the inspection with sediment being transported up to the South Taylor Pit where it was being <br />used as backfill. The Streeter Pond is scheduled for future cleaning after the Prospect Pond.
