<br />Backfilling in South Taylor Pit. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />As noted in the Backfilling and Grading section of this report, spoil from the South Taylor Temporary Spoil Pile is <br />currently being used as part of the backfilling operations of the South Taylor Pit. <br /> <br />The West Taylor Fill was inspected from below. This is a permanent fill that is associated with the South Taylor <br />Pit. The fill is well vegetated and encompassed by two large perimeter ditches that will eventually connect into the <br />reclaimed South Taylor drainages. No issues were observed. <br /> <br />Spoil continues to be placed at the Collom Temporary Spoil Pile as the Collom Pit continues advancement. <br />Dragline operations have now begun in the Collom Pit as room from the pit advancement has allowed for spoil to <br />be placed within previously disturbed or mined areas. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />East Pit: <br /> <br />The Final East Pit Ditch (FEPD) was inspected from stock pond EP 2 to the intersection with the South Collection <br />Ditch. The ditch remains in need of repair from the 2022 storm event however no additional cutting can occur as
