C)
RPM,Inc.
were removed from creek bed
except low water crossing to
keep access to all sections of
property.this took about 5
weeks to complete to as
close as possible to
engineers drawings. If any
more information is needed
please feel free to contact
me. Ed Gibson 719 2481111
The sender is not in your contact list.
Report Junk
+ 004 D, 0 C
In addition, there was a water quality violation brought by the Colorado Division of Public
Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division(WQCD). We reached out to Mr. John
Jankousky, EME Solutions, in a phone call. He helped Mr. Corona file the required reports to the
WQCD. He stated he does not know of any issues at this time. We also reached out to Mr. Chris
Hayes. He stated in an email dated 8/23/2023 the following:
"I have not had any notices of noncompliance or NOV...There aren't any
ongoing discharges."
According to Mr. Corona in a phone conversation, he applied approximately 200 lbs. of seed to
the regraded and topsoiled area. (There was insufficient available topsoil to fully apply to the
entire site.) You will note the presence of soil pods across the regraded mine waste slopes. These
topsoil pods should function as an ongoing seed source for the site.
The reclamation plan also calls for two cross-slope runoff diversion ditches. Given the rocky
nature of the regraded waste rock slope and the effectiveness of the erosion control ditches, the
waste rock slope shows erosional stability. This is significant, given the site is a high snowpack
area.
3
