However, segment 5MF.5138.10 is a 300 <br />meter long section of the old highway alignment that is within the present inventory area for a proposed mining tract. <br />The roadway in this area has been abandoned as a State highway, which has been realigned to the west. The north 75 <br />meters of the segment recorded is now a portion of a County Road (107W) that ends at a modern metal gate. The <br />county road north of the gate has been graveled. South of the gate a new east-west mining road crosses the segment <br />alignment. From this new road, and headed south, the historic highway has been reclaimed. <br />32.Statement of historic integrity related to significance: The site is in the same Location as when it was originally in <br />use and integrity of Association has been previously documented. However, integrity of Design, Materials and <br />Workmanship is lacking as the roadway has been reclaimed. Aspects of Setting and Feeling have changed historically <br />by agricultural and mining activities in the valley. The only extant feature within this segment, a concrete culvert, is <br />vernacular for the period of significance and not unusual or unique.
