He indicated the following: <br /> BRL is still working on the submittal of a revision related to the blowout on Gob Pile #4. <br /> BRL is still determining the best plan of action for the slide at Curve 10. In the near future, Basil intends <br />to let it dry out more and remove some of the saturated material. <br /> <br />Work on Gob Pile #3 (placement of coverfill) continues, and a dozer was seen operating during the inspection. <br />The DRMS inspector spot checked the depth of this material, as discussed below. <br /> <br />The weather was clear and very warm. The ground was dry. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br />An adult deer was seen at the Prep Plant. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Five sediment ponds were inspected: B, C, D, F, and J. None of the ponds were discharging, and all were dry or <br />the water was well below spillways. No significant problems were identified with embankments, spillways, inlet <br />channels, or other features of the ponds. It is recommended that BRL check the capacity of Pond J because of the <br />large amount of vegetation in the bottom of this pond. <br /> <br />The Fire Mountain Canal was flowing full. <br />
