The maintenance items were;
1. clean all culvers along the access road between the upper and Lower refuse disposal piles.
Along the access road to the upper refuse pile,the culverts have been cleared with the exception of the highest
culvert along the road. This culvert still needs to be cleaned. The inlet to the culvert can be seen in Photo One.
Please clean this culvert as soon as you are able.
2. clean culverts as necessary throughout the mine area below the lower refuse disposal pile including the
inlet to the west sediment pond.
All observed culverts throughout the mine area below the lower refuse pile have been cleared and appear to be
able to function as designed. Photo Two shows and example of the cleared culverts. This maintenance item is
considered resolved.
3. Please clean the sediment from the ditch inbetween the bath house and the lower refuse disposal pile.
The ditch in between the bath house and lower refuse pile has been cleared,is free from obstruction and able to
function as designed as seen in Photo Three. No ponding or stagnant water was noted. This maintenance item is
considered resolved.
4. Use rocks to help stabalize the channel leading off of the eastern side of the lower refuse disposal pile next
to the access road.
The channel leading off the eastern side of the refuse disposal pile next to the access has not been sufficiently
armored.
