Rifle Gravel Pit#1 May 2023 <br /> a capacity of 2,000 gallons. These tanks will have diesel fuel. Attachment A, Sheet 13 <br /> depicts the Spill Prevention Control & Containment (SPCC) Detail for these storage tanks. <br /> Figure 9, Exhibit C4 depicts the location of these storage tanks on the Operations Pad <br /> Area. Scott has an SPCC Plan that outlines the fueling and spill prevention practices. The <br /> SPCC plan commits to complying with Rule 3.1.13 in the instance of a spill. <br /> Size of Area Worked <br /> The total size of area that could be involved with this Phase is 19.00 acres. The specific <br /> areas associated with the Operations Pad include: <br /> • Operations Pad area (estimate): <br /> 0 1.86 acres <br /> 0 2,999 CY (import fill, CDOT Class 6, — 1 foot depth) <br /> • Processing area (screen, crush) (estimate): <br /> o 0.2 acres <br /> • Stockpiling area (staging for processing) (estimate): <br /> o 0.54 acres <br /> Equipment <br /> This phase will use conventional earth moving equipment to grade, remove vegetation and <br /> stockpile topsoil, including but not limited to a bulldozer, track-hoe, and a 35-ton haul truck. <br /> 5.2.2.2 Water Diversions and Impoundments <br /> No water diversions or additional low water crossing work will be required as part of Phase <br /> 2. <br /> 5.2.2.3 Water Handling, Dewatering, and Permits <br /> Scott will continue to work on acquiring the necessary permits and approvals initiated during <br /> Phase 1 during Phase 2, as needed. <br /> 5.2.3 Mining Extraction (Phase 3 [P3]) <br /> Phase 3 includes the mining extraction (processing and stockpiling) operations for the 10.43 <br /> acres (of the 19.00 acres of Affected Lands). This section describes the mining methods, <br /> earthmoving, and size of the areas anticipated to be mined at the 30%, 60%, and 100% <br /> mining development of the 10.43 acres over three to five years. <br /> Size of Area Worked at 30% <br /> The estimated area to be mined (processed and stockpiled) at 30% is approximately 4.78 <br /> acres (depicted in Figure 9, Exhibit C4) and amounts to approximately 88,000 CY of <br /> mined (processed and stockpiled) material. <br /> Size of Area Worked at 60% <br /> The total estimated area to be mined (processed and stockpiled) at 60% is approximately <br /> 6.83 acres (depicted in Figure 10, Exhibit C5) and amounts to approximately 140,000 CY <br /> of mined (processed and stockpiled) material. <br /> • Cumulative area estimated at 60% = 6.83 acres <br /> 27 <br />
