Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Lucas West of the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety as part of the normal monitoring program for permitted sites. Wade Wymore accompanied the inspection <br /> and represented the Operator. Normal activies were takaing place at the mine during the inspection. at the King II <br /> area,the stackers were active and trucks were bineg loaded at the time of the inspection. At the King I facility,no <br /> activity was taking place to the snow and muddy conditions. It was actively snowing and muddy at the time of the <br /> inspection.Three Photos accompany this report to illustrate the current site conditions. <br /> The main focus of this inspection was to follow up on the maintenance items detailed in the Division's previous <br /> Inspection Report. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> During the Division's previous complete inspection a few items in the record book needed to updated with <br /> the most recently available quarter's reports. Those were the Pond Inspection Reports,NPDES records,Coal <br /> Waste Bank Reports with Compaction Testing,2022 Annual Reclamation Report and the DRMS Inspection <br /> Reports. During this inspection,Division Staff verified that all records have been updated and the maintenance <br /> item is considered resolved. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Another maintenance item that was identified during the previous inspection was associated with a small <br /> portion of the Clear Water Ditch adjacent to the air jig at the King II Facility and the internal sump leading to the <br /> Sediment Pond near the same location. At this time the conditions have not allowed access to that area to <br /> complete the maintenance. The Operator is encouraged to monitor the conditions in the area and complete the <br /> tasks as soon as they are able.
