March 28, 2023 C-1981-041/Roadside Portals CCW <br /> 016. The small amount of water was scheduled to be pumped later in the week. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3),Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br /> (6)/4.03.2(5) and(6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access roads throughout the permit area were stable with no major erosional concerns. Some portions of <br /> the access roads were soft and muddy,but not impassable. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The remaining reclamation at the Roadside mine is located in the southwest portion of the permit area <br /> which is referred to as Tract 71. The reclamation is approximately 0.4 acres in size and was related to the work <br /> conducted under the approved Technical Revision No. 69. The area was backfilled,graded and reseeded in the <br /> fall of 2019. The reclaimed area was stable with no erosional concerns (Photos 3 and 4). Vegetation was <br /> beginning to green and help stabilize the area. There were no observed signs of differential settling of the <br /> reclaimed surface. The northern portion of the reclaimed area was impacted by landowner activities in the <br /> summer of 2022. No further impacts to the reclaimed area were observed. The straw waddles placed on the <br /> downgradient boundary of the reclaimed area were in good condition. No off site impacts were observed. <br /> The western portion of Tract 71 has been bladed by the landowner. These activities are documented in previous <br /> 2022 Division inspection reports. No new activity was observed during this inspection. No new impacts have <br /> occurred to the reclaimed area. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> Mine identification signs were observed to be posted on the northern and southern entrances to the permit <br /> boundary. The signs displayed the required information for the Mine Permit,permittee and the Division.
