March 14, 2023 C-2010-089/New Horizon North Mine CCW <br /> being transported to Pond 002. The ditch was stable and clear of debris. No erosional concerns were observed. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The portion of the site reclaimed to irrigated pasture is located in the center of the southern half of the <br /> permit boundary. The reclaimed area was stable with vegetative cover. Vegetation has not yet started to grow for <br /> the season. There were no erosional features observed. Portions of the land surrounding the irrigated pasture have <br /> been reclaimed to Dryland pasture. These areas were observed to be stable with vegetative cover. There were no <br /> indications of erosion. <br /> Bench 1 material stockpiles are located in the southwest corner, southeast corner and western areas of the permit <br /> area. All three stockpiles were vegetated and stable. There were no erosional features identified and no loss of <br /> bench material resource was observed. Minor rills were observed on the western Bench 1 material stockpile <br /> (Photo 4). The rills did not appear to be affecting the stability of the pile. No off site impacts were noted. <br /> OFFSITE SUPPORT FACILIITES -Rule 4.04, 4.28: <br /> Support facilities for the New Horizon North Mine are located at the pad containing the mine office at the <br /> New Horizon Mine, C-1981-008. The pad contains the mine offices and the warehouse. The pad was stable with <br /> no erosional features. Runoff from the pad had been properly conveyed to Pond 018, also within the New Horizon <br /> Mine's permit area. No off site impacts were observed. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> Mixed topsoil stockpiles 1 (Photo 5) and 2 were stable with sufficient vegetative cover. There was no loss <br /> of topsoil resource observed.
