March 6, 2023 C-1981-018/Deserado Mine CCW <br /> Three rock dust tank pads were visited during the inspection. Pads for the RDH-2, RDH-3 (Photo 6) and RDH-4 <br /> rock dust tanks were covered in snow. The pads had been plowed and there were no erosional features noted. <br /> There was also no indication of instability on these pads. <br /> The Pad for the DW-1R dewatering pump was snow covered. The pad was stable with no erosion. <br /> The Nitrogen Plant#2 was observed to be stable. The pad had been plowed and there were no erosional features <br /> seen. <br /> The Slot Storage's pad had been plowed(Photo 7). Snow was observed to be melting during the inspection. <br /> Snowmelt was draining to the ditches leading into the SS-1 pond. The slopes of the facility were stable with no <br /> indications of erosion. The berms on top of the facility pad were covered with snow. The berms had no signs of <br /> instability or erosion. <br /> The water storage tanks are located on top if the hill east of the main facilities area. The pad for the tanks had <br /> been plowed.
