Enclosed is a brief description and bid schedule for the Butte Tailings Regrading Project.
Site Showing
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 1, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at the London
Mine (See attached map). .
Bid Submission and Evaluations
Bids shall be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on September 8,1999 by fax, mail or in person to Yvonne
Brannon-:Telephoned-bids-will-not-be aec-epted.--The-attached--bid schedule must-be submitted-
by all bidders. Bids will be evaluated by working down the priority listing. Items will be added in
their order of priority as listed in the following schedule, up to the amount the State has
available for work on this property. An equal number of bid items will be added for each bidder,
up to the amount of available funds, to determine the lowest bidder.
Bid Award
The apparent low bidder must submit a certificate of insurance with the following limits:
1. Standard Worker's Compensation and Employer Liability, as required by State Statute
including occupational disease, covering all employees at the work site.
• 2. General Liability (Public Liability & Property Damage) (Minimum);
a. Combined single limit of$600,000 written on an occurrence basis;
b. Any aggregate will not be less than $1 million;
c. The contractor must purchase additional insurance if claims reduce the annual
aggregate below $600,000;
d. The State of Colorado must be named as additional insured on each
