The site consists of <br /> miscellaneous mining debris, two placer pits, large stockpiles <br /> south and east of the pits and a small topsoil stockpile. Pit 1 is <br /> approximately 0.06 acres in size and Pit 2 is approximately 0.75 `" Y <br /> acres in size. A rare plant(Botrychium tunux) was identified by <br /> the USFS in 2008. The plant is located along the old access road <br /> in Pit 2. The USFS required that the b.tunux plant could not be - <br /> impacted during reclamation. 40.;. � ~ <br /> Construction Summary `pa <br /> Construction began on September 20, 2010 with equipment and -4141 <br /> materials being mobilized to the project site. Work started in Pits } • <br /> 1 and 2 and consisted of pushing a large stockpile of rock and -* ~ <br /> dirt into the pits. Rocks ranged from 2 feet to 6 inches in ,.. <br /> diameter. Not enough material was available to fill the pits to s. = `' <br /> grade. A depression remains, but side slopes were blended in �` <br /> with the surrounding area. The topsoil pile was used to cover the View of Pit 2 looking west. Stockpiles were pushed into the pit and <br /> large rocks as well as ditch cleaning material stockpiled by the blended in with the surrounding area, topsoiled and revegetated <br /> Town of Alma. Topsoil cover was spread to a depth of 2 to 4 <br /> inches. After topsoil was spread the area was seeded, Biosol was <br /> Land Owner:United States Forest Service <br /> distributed and the area was mulched with two tons of certified <br /> weed free mulch per acre. A special seed mixture was prescribed General Contractor: <br /> by the USFS consisting of native species. Miscellaneous mining Pridemore Construction <br /> 2704 CR 195A <br /> trash and debris were hauled from the site. A total of 3 acres Salida,CO 81201 <br /> were reclaimed. Work was completed on October 6,2010. <br /> DRMS Project Manager: Erica Crosby <br /> Change Order #1 was issued for the Beal Site to include Total Project Cost: $14,582.00 <br /> spreading additional topsoil piles and to add one additional acre <br /> of revegetation. <br />
