The site had noxious weeds and undesirable non-native vegetation as the result of livestock grazing. <br /> The State of Colorado retained a bond in the amount of$19,500.00 to complete reclamation activities at the site after the <br /> bond was forfeited. <br /> BIDDING/CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION <br /> The scope of work for the project included a safety plan, noxious and undesirable weed removal, revegetation, and tree and <br /> shrub planting. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Horizon Environmental Services from Durango, Colorado in the <br /> amount of$17,900.00. <br /> Horizon Environmental Services, Inc. completed seeding and weed mitigation on the Piedra Rock Products site during <br /> 2010, 2011 and 2012.
