Item 9.0 - ADDITIONAL SITE GRADING - NOT GUARANTEED <br /> Place, grade and compact an additional one hundred cubic yards(100 cy)of onsite material utilizing cut <br /> and fill methods in accordance with project specifications. <br /> Item 10.0 - ADDITIONAL SEEDING & REVEGITATION- NOT GUARANTEED <br /> Seed an additional one acre (1 ac) seed drilling in accordance with Item 8.1 and the Revegetation <br /> Specifications, Section 20.0 in the General Bid Specifications, 2009. <br /> Item 11.0—ADDITIONAL INSTALL SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROL- NOT GUARANTEED <br /> Provide and install an additional fifty linear feet (50 If) of straw waddles per Section 22.0 of the <br /> Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program General Bid Specifications, 2009 if required. <br /> MEASURMENT AND PAYMENT FOR ADDITIONAL BID ITEMS 9.0, 10.0, AND 11.0 <br /> The price bid shall include all costs for labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary to <br /> complete the Item. Measurement for payment shall be made of the actual unit quantities provided <br /> and installed according to specification, at the unit cost indicated on the Bid Schedule. <br /> Item 12.0 —ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT TIME <br /> Equipment rental. Ten hours (20 hrs) of CAT D6 Bulldozer (or equivalent) with operator per Section <br /> 19.0 of the Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program General Bid Specifications, 2009, if <br /> required. <br /> MEASURMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> Measurement for payment for Item 12.0 shall be made per hour, prorated to the nearest quarter hour <br /> for the actual unit quantities provided according to specification in Section 19.0 of the General Bid <br /> Specifications, 2009. <br /> PROJECT OBSERVATION <br /> The PROJECT MANAGER will be at the project site periodically to monitor construction activities <br /> and ensure that each work item is completed and constructed to design specifications. The <br /> PROJECT MANAGER will be available during regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) on <br /> weekdays. Inspections will not be scheduled on weekend days or holidays without prior approval of <br /> the PROJECT MANAGER. It is the CONTRACTOR'S responsibility to schedule inspections with the <br /> Project Manager so as not to delay the work. The following items must be observed and approved <br /> by the PROJECT MANAGER before proceeding with the following project activities: <br /> 1. Utility location documentation, <br /> 2. Piezometer abandonment, <br /> 3. Final grade elevations, <br /> 4. Seed mix tickets must be supplied, <br /> 5. Weed free mulch certificate must be supplied. <br /> Page 16 of 16 <br />
