Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste Y- Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy. <br /> Temperatures hovered around 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was humid and a stiff wind was blowing. <br /> Snow was melting rapidly due to temperatures and chinook wind/atmospheric river weather conditions. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> o Permit Revision 11 (PRII) <br /> o A TR is under consideration for dragline mining up to the lease limit in L Pit. <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L,N and I and J Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. The drag <br /> line was operating casting spoil at the south end of L Pit. In the N pit Q seam has been mined, openings <br /> backfilled and the floor will be raised by backfilling to mine M seam above. Significant water was <br /> running in the N Pit. Coal was stockpiled for hauling. <br /> Two blasts were set up in I Pit east. I pit extension is dug. <br /> J Pit is getting dug excavators we're present in the pit <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3)14.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4)14.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) <br /> and(6)14.03.2(5) and(6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7)14.03.2(7) <br /> o Main haul roads were in good repair and well maintained at the time of inspection.
