Form 2 – Public File Page 6 of 14
5. Describe proposed surface excavation or other land disturbance, including roads, pits,
trenches, waste piles, drill pads and collar areas of underground workings, ponds, etc.
6. Proposed Disturbance (approximate) Describe the proposed drilling to be conducted,
including anticipated number of holes, diameter, depth, location, etc. Submit additional
pages if necessary:
A. Drill Pads:
Quantity
Average
Width (ft)
Average
Length (ft)
B. Drill Holes:
Quantity Depth (ft)
Diameter
(in)
C. Mud Pits
Quantity
Average
Width (ft)
Average
Length (ft)
Average
Depth (ft)
D. Described proposed underground work, including reopening of old workings,
advancement of adits or shafts, trenches, pits, cuts, rock dumps, or other types of
disturbance, describe type, quantity and general dimensions:
Disturbance will occur on and include existing access, existing and proposed exploration roads, 3
drill pads, and a laydown yard as shown on figures 3 and 4. Approximately 1,460 feet of the existing
access road will require improvements to allow safe travel and approximately 160 feet of proposed
road will be disturbed. Roads will consist of single lane travel with disturbance widths of 14 feet.
Existing roads are 12 feet wide. The drill sites will be approximately 75 feet long by 50 feet wide. The
total length for drill pads is 225 feet. A sump (mud pit), eight feet wide by ten feet long and four feet
deep will be constructed within each drill pad. A laydown/staging yard approximately 100 feet long by
75 feet wide will be cleared for use. The disturbance area (0.97 acres) is calculated in the attached
REX Road and Pad Disturbance and Improvements worksheet. See Attachment 6.
No underground work is proposed with this prospecting application.
350 75
3 166 avg 6
38 10 4
