Form 2 – Public File Page 7 of 14
E. Other Disturbances (please describe)
F. Indicate Chemicals and Fuels used or stored on site. List type, quantity and method to
store.
G. New Roads:
Length (ft): Width (ft):
Significantly
Upgraded Roads Length (ft): Width (ft):
Are culverts or other crossings proposed? If so, please describe:
H. Total project area to be disturbed (acres)
I. Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
Existing roads and trails will be utilized and improved as necessary to allow for safe
access. Improvements will include tree trimming/removal, blading, adding fill, and
stabilizing washout areas with fill and/or a culvert in one location.
Exploration and drilling personnel will access the site in pickup trucks. A reverse
circulation (RC) drill will be utilized along with support vehicles, such as a pipe truck or
trailer, water truck, forklift, and portable light plant/generator. It is anticipated that only
one drill rig will be on site at any one time. A bull dozer or excavator and a backhoe may
be utilized for road improvement and reclamation.
Chemicals and fuels used on site may include diesel fuel, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, and
lubricating grease. Approximately 300 gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline will be stored in
fuel delivery systems on drill rigs and support vehicles. Approximately 50 pounds of
lubricating grease and 35 gallons of hydraulic fluid will be stored on each drill rig and
transported by drill trucks.
160
1,460
14
12
One culvert is proposed in an area requiring fill to maintain access in the event of a storm event causing run-off. The approximate
culvert location is shown on figures 3 and 4. The culvert, if placed, will be removed at the end of prospecting. An alternative to
culvert placement will be the placement of fill material that will allow run-off to flow through while maintaining access.
0.97 ac
