Section 36, Section 25 and
Middle Pond run in serious with each other and collect runoff from the eastern portion of disturbance from the
Collom Pit. Each of these ponds held water with no discharge. Section 25 Pond has received maintenance on the
primary spillway. The maintenance was completed prior to the inspection and water levels have not reached to the
elevation of the spillway. Discussion with the mine representative stated that unfortunately maintenance did not fix
the small leaking that was occurring within the primary discharge pipe. The Sidehill and Section 26 ponds run in
series with each other as well and receive runoff from the western portion of the Collom Pit.The Section 26 Pond
held water however was not discharging at the time of the inspection. All Collom Ponds were stable and no issues
were observed.
Prospect Pond.
