October 27,2022 C-1981-008/New Horizon Mine LJW <br /> Near the Johnson Property stockpile area,Pond 016 was observed,this pond contained no standing water and can <br /> be seen in Photo Four. The banks and pond floor are well vegetated and in good condition. All reporting ditches <br /> and drainages are clear from obstruction and appear to be able to function as designed. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> At the Facilities Area the various topsoil stockpiles were observed. The piles are well vegetated and <br /> appeared stable at the time of the inspection,no signs of erosion of the piles was noted. An example of the <br /> stockpiles located at the Facilities Area can be seen in Photo Five. <br /> At the Johnson Property stockpile all topsoil stockpiles were observed. The stockpiles are in excellent condition, <br /> with ring berms intact and no evidence of erosion or sediment transport observed. An example of the stockpiles in <br /> this area can be seen in Photo Six. <br /> PHOTOGRAPHS <br /> Photo One: View West,showing the backfill area adjacent to the Johnson Property <br /> stockpile area. No evidence of settling,slumping or erosion was noted.
