The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, <br /> Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The temperature was approximately 65 degrees F. There were <br /> gusty winds. No offsite air or water quality impacts were noted at the time of inspection. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br /> o Thistle and white top mitigation needed in north railroad field, spring summer 2023 task. <br /> o Reseed refuse pile, autumn 2022. <br /> o The culvert and the pump housing at the 5 Mine Well in the south bottomlands are open. <br /> These should be covered as soon as possible. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS ADDRESSED <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Reclamation is mostly completed as permitted. Facilities have been removed throughout the site. <br /> Reclamation, backfilling, grading and positive drainage at the 5A Portal is nearly completed and <br /> is anticipated to be finished by the end 2022. The 5A portal area was disturbed after August <br /> 1977 and prior to April 1978. A culvert below the portal will be removed and the 5A-D I ditch <br /> to the pond from the south will be updated with additional berming. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> o Topsoil piles were marked with a T post. <br /> o Permit boundary markers were visible, adequately spaced and intact. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 2of8 <br />
