16. The Division has contacted the Office of Surface Mining, Reclamation Fees Branch. As of <br /> this time, Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC,the operator is current in the payment <br /> of reclamation fees required by 30 CFR Chapter VII, subchapter R(2.07.6(2)(o)). <br /> Section B -Rule 4 <br /> I. Roads —Rule 4.03 <br /> No changes are proposed for roads with this permit revision. <br /> II. Support Facilities —Rule 4.04 <br /> No changes are proposed with the support facilities with this revision. <br /> III.Hydrologic Balance - Rule 4.05 <br /> This permit revision does not propose any changes to the hydrologic balance or changes to <br /> the previously approved post-mining contours. No updates are necessary for this section of <br /> the Findings document. <br /> D. Sedimentation Ponds and Impoundments <br /> No changes to the currently approved ponds or impoundments is proposed with this permit <br /> revision. Previously approved sediment pond design, construction and maintenance are <br /> described in Section 2.05.3(3) Mine Facilities. The pond designs and runoff calculations for <br /> the permit area ponds are shown in the following attachments: Pond 13 Attachment <br /> 2.05.3(3)-6, , Pond 012 Attachment 2.05.3(3)-12 and 13, , Pond 015 Attachment 2.05.3(3)- <br /> 20, Pond 16 Attachment 2.05.3(3)-36 and Pond 18 Attachment 2.05.3(3)-35. <br /> G. Surface and Ground Water Monitoring <br /> The Hydrologic monitoring plan for groundwater and surface water is described in permit <br /> section 2.04.7. No changes to the monitoring plan is proposed with this permit revision. <br /> J. Stream Buffer Zones <br /> The proposed post mining land use change will allow for prime farmland, and management <br /> of the prime farmland well outside of the closest stream buffer zone for Tuttle Draw. <br /> IV.Topsoil <br /> Topsoil operations have been completed for areas east of 2700 Road, with the exception of <br /> the support facilities area. Reclamation activities are continuing north of BB road and west <br /> of 2700 Road. <br /> 13 <br />
