Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not on site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste NA - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Yoast Mine, C1994082, operated by Seneca Property LLC. <br /> Michael Howard of Peabody Inc, was present throughout the inspection. The inspection was <br /> conducted, and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The weather was clear, <br /> with a light breeze and temperatures hovering around 75 degrees F. The ground was dry. The <br /> County Road 37 utilized for accessing the Yoast Ponds was in good condition. No hydrologic or <br /> air quality issues were detected at the time of inspection. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br /> 1. Cattails at discharge structure of Pond#10 require mitigation. <br /> 2. Grasses at the discharge structure ofPond#12 require mitigation. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Reclamation has been completed at the site. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts <br /> were observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation was observed to be stable with a diverse <br /> mix of well established vegetation. Ponds and drainage ways visited along County Road 37 <br /> appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6;Discharge <br /> Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring <br /> 4.05.13; Drainage-Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream <br /> Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br /> o Dam outslopes at all ponds visited (Ponds #12, #13 and#14), appeared stable and <br /> functioning adequately at the time of inspection.
