The West Pond contained standing
water in response to recent precipitation. The banks were stable at the time of the inspection and well vegetated.
The West Pond can be seen in Photo One. The East Pond also contained minimal amounts of storm water. The
banks appeared stable at the time and in excellent condition and the pond can be seen in Photo Two. Throughout
the King I facility all storm water appears to be captured by the ponds and no signs of erosion or sedimentation
was observed. Just outside the gate, along the access road to the King I facility are several storm water sumps.
These sumps were observed and all wattles and silt fencing was functioning as designed. An example of these
features can be seen in Photo Three. All internal drainage structures reporting to the ponds are unobstructed and
able to function as designed.
Barn Area
At the base of the access road to the Low Cover Crossing, the storm water control features were observed. All
structures appear to be functioning as designed and show signs of recent maintenance. An example of the
structures can be seen in Photo Four. Surrounding the structures, the laydown and parking area is also in good
condition. No evidence of sheet flow or other erosion was noted. The parking area can be seen in Photo Five.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1
Page 2 of 8
