Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy. <br /> Temperatures ranged between 50 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm in the morning and breezy <br /> in the afternoon. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> RN8 <br /> Permit Revision I I (PR11),is in the process of development. <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> 1. Some ponds require sediment markers. <br /> 2. No Name system vegetation in outlets of 44 and 45 <br /> O UTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the d, L,N, I and J Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. Both <br /> highwall miners on site were stationed,in each of the I Pits. One at the west end of I Pit West and one at <br /> the east end of I Pit east. The high wall miner was active on the west end of I Pit West. No activity was <br /> occurring on east end in this pit. Highwall mining and hauling coal out of I Pit East was occurring at the <br /> time of inspection. Additional stripping is needed at the south west end of J pit. <br /> Derringer Pit(D Pit),is undergoing reclamation. Soil is mounded below D Pit and is ready for grading to <br /> PMT. Topsoil was being hauled and piled on the west slope. One dozer was operating on the west slope <br /> to form a topsoil pile and one dozer was working in the center of the pit to establish a drainage. Two <br /> scrapers were working on east side of pit. There are a series of road corridors approximately the width of <br /> a dozer across phase III reclamation east of the D Pit. <br /> No blasts were observed to be set up in any of the pits. The Molly Brown was stationed in the L Pit. No <br /> coal was being hauled from L pit although overburden was being hauled and placed in spoil piles.
