The scale and scale house
currently utilized on the adjacent property are portable units. These or similar units will eventually be
brought on -site. The scale is 12-FT X 70-FT, placed on the ground and will be 4-FT high. The scale house is
8-FT X 20-FT, placed on the ground and will be 9-FT high. Equipment used on site will include dozer,
loader, grader, excavator, water truck, and aggregate processing equipment. Aggregate processing
equipment will include a generator, jaw crusher, cone crusher, conveyor belting, and material screens.
The anticipated extraction plan over the next 10-years will utilize alternating material extraction
from the current Avery Pit and this newly requested area of Avery Pit Extension #2. This will allow
extraction operations to continue at the Avery Pit Extension #2 land, while items are moved and relocated
in the current Avery Pit. Once the items are moved and cleared for further operations, material extraction
will shift back to the current Avery Pit. This alternating extraction plan will take approximately ten years,
until the resources are depleted in the current Avery Pit, at which time all extraction activities are planned
to occur in the Avery Pit Extension #2. Extraction operations are anticipated to only occur in one pit
at a time. All utilities (water, sewer, electric, and gas) are expected to remain in the current Avery Pit
throughout the extraction life of the Avery Extension Pit #2; no new utilities are planned.
C.
