J. Describe and locate any structures to be constructed (i.e. stockpiles, ponds,
impoundments):
Temporary wooden drill platforms will be constructed at locations requiring helicopter
access. Platforms are constructed of beams measuring approximately 6amX60OX 140 (See
Figure 1). Platforms will be dismantled and removed following appropriate hole closure
K. Describe anticipated relationship to surface water and groundwater (proximity to
streams,penetration of ground water aquifers):
The dilling locations are in the extreme upper reaches of the East and West Manco River
watuF:stiedataiieievatiuiiufuvei 11,500feet. None of t!ie t!lieu locations tire Witt III 1300
feet of a live stream. Interception of ground water is not anticipated. (See Attachment D,
Supplemental Information) Should a saturated zone be encountered, the saturated zone will
be sealed with -;a r0onr0rete plug, and the "plug" drilled through with a smaller d-i-a.meter hit
IV. OPERATION AND RECLAMATION MEASURES:
1. The Board suggests that a photographic record of the pre-prospecting and
post-prospecting conditions be kept by the prospector. These photos should be taken
from the same location and by the same method to clearly show the pre-prospecting
condition of the land and the reclamation efforts. Upon completion of reclamation and
request for bond or surety release, the Board may consider the photos as evidence of
adequate reclamation, and thus,be able to act more quickly on the request for release.
2. Provide a description of the native vegetation of the area to be disturbed, including
tree, shrub, and grass communities of the area. Color photographs, sufficient to
adequately represent the ecology of the site and adequately labeled (including date,
orientation and location), may be used in lieu of a written description. Based on the
quality of the photographs, the Division may require additional detail.
The drilling locations are devoid of vegetation, due to their location above the tree-line,
on either a previously disturbed access road, a barren bedrock outcrop, or a scree
slope nrolliag at locations 02 and 03 will be performed from a square wooden platform
measuring approximately 14 feet per side. (See Figure 1). See Attachment D,
Supplemental inforinEttion for Reclamation details.
Form 2—Public File Page 8 of 14
