June 23,2022 C-1981-018/Deserado Mine CCW <br /> The Main Facilities Area was well maintained with no erosional concerns. Ditches throughout the area <br /> were clear of debris or blockages. The Fuel Storage area was stable. The perimeter berm around the storage tanks <br /> was stable with no erosional concerns. No off site impacts had occurred. <br /> The pad and well for the DW-1R dewatering system has been completed(Photo 1). The pad was stable with no <br /> erosional features. The pump and the sediment pond has not yet been completed. <br /> The water storage tanks,radio tower and West Mains Vent Shaft are all located up the hill to the east of the Main <br /> Facilities Area. The pads for these support facilities were stable and had no erosional features. No off-site <br /> impacts were observed. The security fence around the West Mains Vent Shaft was in good repair. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> The topsoil pile for the Main Facilities Area is located above the upper bench to the west(Photo 2). The <br /> pile was vegetated and stable. There were no indications of erosional concerns. The topsoil markers were in place <br /> on top of the pile. <br /> Various topsoil piles are located on the side of the haul road(Photo 3). The piles were observed to be stable with <br /> vegetative cover. There were no erosional features identified. The perimeter berms were observed to be in good <br /> condition and no loss of topsoil resources was seen. Topsoil markers were identified on top of the piles. <br /> Topsoil for the refuse piles is located along the haul road south of the refuse area. The piles were observed to be <br /> vegetated and stable. No indications of erosion were seen. The perimeter berms were intact and there was no loss <br /> of topsoil resources. The topsoil markers were identified on top of the piles. <br /> Topsoil piles along the conveyor corridor were stable with vegetative cover. Topsoil pile markers were seen on <br /> top of the piles. The perimeter berms were in good condition.
