Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C1981010,operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br /> The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br /> Graham Roberts,Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy. <br /> Temperatures ranged between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The air was calm in the morning and breezy <br /> in the afternoon. Trapper Mine Inc,is employing contractors to highwall mine I and J pits,backfill and <br /> grade D Pit and other projects throughout the site. Staffing is problematic as not all teams can be <br /> assembled as needed,i.e. dragline operator may not be teamed with truck and loader team. <br /> Permit Revision 11 (PR11)is in the process of development with a proposal to open a C Pit depending <br /> on core samples. Coring for C pit has begun. A drainage passes through J Pit. A ditch will be proposed <br /> (PR11),to be built on the contour to convey water to Coyote Pond. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br /> TR129 <br /> TR130 <br /> TR131 <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS: <br /> 1. Sumps below the north berm of the haul road require dredging. <br /> OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br /> 1. Soil in reclaimed areas show riling and will be addressed this summer,as per the operator. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Activities in the L,N and J and I Pits were observed and appear to be progressing as permitted. <br /> Backfilling was occurring in the Derringer Pit. Excavating was occurring in I in J pits. Core drilling was <br /> occurring on the north slope of a potential C Pit to the southwest of J Pit past Coyote Pond. Four drill <br /> pads were in place. No blasts were observed to be set up in any of the pits. The Molly Brown was <br /> working in the L Pit. No coal or overburden were being hauled from L pit. Roads were being watered <br /> throughout the site. No coal hauling was observed at the time of inspection. <br /> The highwall miner located in the N Pit has been shifted to mine updip along the south highwall. Coal <br /> was not being extracted as the miner was idle due to a maintenance issue at the time of inspection. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 13 <br />
