18 May 2022 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine RAR <br /> o The main haul road was stable and in good condition free of ruts or standing water. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br /> 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Ponds and stock tanks held water, and some ponds were discharging at the time of inspection. Pond <br /> banks and dam outslopes were in good repair and well vegetated. <br /> o Ponds 6,held water and was discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> o Stock tank T2 above pond 6 held turbid water. <br /> o Ponds 16,held water and was discharging at the time of inspection. Willows were present below <br /> the flume and cattails were growing in the downstream portion of the channel. <br /> o Pond 15 was discharging turbid water at .08 ft/sec. <br /> o Pond 9 held turbid water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE-Rule 4.12 <br /> No recent slumping was observed. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> Vegetation had greened up after a moist spring. Vegetation is well established and mature throughout the site. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—R ULE 4.18 <br /> Wildlife is often observed throughout the Seneca IIW mine site. Wildlife observed comprised a variety of <br /> waterfowl on the ponds and elk throughout the site. <br /> INSPECTION, ENFORCEMENT and CIVIL PENALTIES—R ULE 5 <br /> Inspections 5.02;Availability of Records <br /> Highlighted items require attention.
