Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not on site <br /> N - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA - Processing Waste N - Topsoil <br /> CONIMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Yoast Mine, C 1994082, operated by Seneca Property LLC. <br /> Miranda Kawcak of Peabody Inc,was present throughout the inspection. The inspection was <br /> conducted, and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The weather was clear <br /> and calm with temperatures hovering around 60 to 75 degrees F. The ground was damp. The <br /> roads were in good condition, and the entire site was accessible. No hydrologic or air quality issues <br /> were detected at the time of inspection. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> None <br /> MAINTENANCE ITEMS <br /> o Main channel above Pond 13 (Phase II), requires maintenance, armoring, and possibly <br /> some checkdams. <br /> INSPECTION <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> Reclamation has been completed at the site. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts <br /> were observed at the time of inspection. Ponds and drainage ways appeared to be functioning <br /> adequately. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS Rule 4.02 <br /> o Permit boundary markers observed appropriately located and spaced. <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 <br /> Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4);Surfacing and Maintenance <br /> 4.03.1(5) and(6) 4.03.2(5) and(6). <br /> o Roads in and through the site were dry and in good repair. <br /> o No standing water or rutted areas were noted on any roads at the time of inspection. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE Rule 4.05 <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> Page 2 of 7 <br />
