Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other R - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> CONVOENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Colowyo Mine conducted by Zach Trujillo of Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation,Mining and Safety(DRMS)on April 21,2022. Dennis Cook representing Colowyo Coal Company <br /> (Colowyo)accompained the inspection. The weather for inspection was clear with high wind gusts throughout the <br /> inspeciton. Ground conditions were dry High temperatures during the inspection were around 65 degrees <br /> fahrenheit. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2;Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> Backfill and grading work continues at the West Pit. Spoil from above the highwall from the old rock crusher pad <br /> is being hauled dumped into the remaining pit area.A good portion of the remaining pit has been backfilled. <br /> S <br /> West Pit backfill and regrade work. Overlooking West Pit backfill and regrade area. <br /> EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE—Rule 4.09 <br /> Placement;Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br /> Overburden removal from the main pit area of Collom was occurring during the inspection. Spoil was being <br /> removed by truck and shovel operations and transported north to the Collom Temporary Spoil Pile. The spoil pile <br /> disturbance boundary was inspected and all spoil remains in the approved foot print. <br />
