The areas of anticipated disturbance are within the central portion of the Gunnell <br /> #8 Mine, which is almost entirely covered with said "Dump". No crushing, <br /> grinding or screening will take place on site. Less than one acre of disturbance is <br /> contemplated. <br /> The anticipated maximum removal rate will be for less than 70,000 tons of ore <br /> per year. A small loader and 5 ton trucks will be used to remove the ore and <br /> covered Super Sack Containers on pallets. See discussion on access roads below. <br /> 6.3.3(i)(f)—Dimensions of Significant Disturbances <br /> No significant disturbances to the land surface will occur other than removal of a <br /> historical waste rock disposal area. Photos of the current condition at the mine <br /> site are attached to this permit application. <br /> 6.3.3(1)(g)—Existing or Proposed Roads <br /> No new roads will be created during this phase of the mining operation. No road <br /> wideningnor other road improvements shall be made during the primarymining <br /> phase.The access road width consistent though the proposed route is a minimum <br /> of 12 feet. <br /> Truck loading will take place off of Nevadaville Road, so the impacts on local <br /> traffic will be minimal. Warning signs and traffic control will be used as needed to <br /> protect the public. Dust and noise will be monitored and suppressed as necessary <br /> for county ordinance compliance. All MSHA regulations for fluid and material <br /> storage will be followed. <br /> 6.3.3(1)(h)—Water Usage <br /> Water for dust control will be stored in a raised tank on site. <br /> 6.3.34)(1)—Groundwater and surface water <br /> Groundwater is not anticipated to be encountered. <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
