EXHIBIT B <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> This site has almost no existing topsoil, the ground where mining is proposed to <br /> be disturbed is covered by Historically Mined Ore from the Gunnell Mine in Gilpin <br /> County Colorado, .4 miles west of Nevdavilie Rd.JACK D TABB, LLC attaches this <br /> site Description and Location Map as "Exhibit B" for a limited Impact (110d) <br /> Operation Reclamation Permit. Application No. M-2021-068 with the Colorado <br /> Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. <br /> This proposed project lies at Tax Area 10, S:11 T:35 R:73W, Mine: Gunnell#8, <br /> Parcel 454 <br /> 5.3.2(a) <br /> Vegetation and Soil Characteristics of Affected Area: <br /> (Please see App 1—Vegetation)Vegetation is basically established on the forested <br /> slope and consists of common varieties found in the area. Although the affected <br /> area is almost entirely covered with the historic waste rock dump and is devoid of <br /> any vegetation due to the acidic and metalliferous content of the dump. <br /> (Please see App 2-DMR Area Soil Report) Soil characteristics of the and <br /> mountainous site is composed of crystalline Precambrian rocks, and tertiary <br /> intrusive rocks. Bedrock is to be found rather quickly beneath the course <br /> weathered rock. <br /> Specific, actual conditions of this site are the pre-existing abandoned mine waste <br /> rock from mining operations conducted by others in the late 1800's and early <br /> 1900's. There is approximately 250,000 tons of this material contained within the <br /> affected area, which basically takes up the entire location. This operation will <br /> completely remove the dump on.JACK D TABB I.I.C. PROPERTY and ship it to an <br /> out of state processing facility to remove contaminants and any trace precious <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
