The following clarifications and amendments <br /> should be noted and incorporated into the original Bid Documents: <br /> Bids must be mailed, faxed, or hand delivered. Email bids are NOT PERMITTED. The bid <br /> submittal for this project is no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday,June 4,2019. <br /> Please use the REVISED Bid Schedule included with this amendment when submitting your bid. <br /> DRMS has confirmed with the County Road and Bridge that the right of way is 30 feet from the <br /> centerline of the road. No construction activities will occur within this easement. <br /> Task 3: Berm Construction <br /> Two (2) earthen berms will be constructed with approximate centerline locations as shown in Figure <br /> A and as detailed in the Bid Documents. <br /> • Berm A will have the approximate dimensions of 80 feet long and 0-3.0 feet high as such to <br /> achieve an overall elevation of 3.5 feet above the bottom elevation of the existing central <br /> culvert under the county road at final compacted configuration. The top of the berm will be <br /> 20 feet wide and sloped at a 3(h):1(v) slope on both sides. It is estimated that 260 cubic yards <br /> of material will be required for Berm A. <br /> • Berm B will have the approximate dimensions of 120 feet long and 0-5.5 feet high as such to <br /> achieve an overall elevation of 2.0 feet above the bottom elevation of the existing central <br /> culvert under the county road at final compacted configuration. The top of the berm will be <br /> 20 feet wide and sloped at a 3(h):1(v) slope on both sides. It is estimated that 890 cubic yards <br /> of material will be required for Berm B. <br /> • The entire estimated 1,500 cubic yards of material stored in the overburden pile will be either <br /> used for berm construction or placed as fill material as directed by the Project Manager. <br /> All terms and conditions of the Discretionary Purchase other than as changed by this <br /> amendment remain the same. <br /> Task 5: Reseeding of Work Areas <br /> Fertilizer: Triton (NPK 6-1-1), or approved equivalent, will be supplied by CONTRACTOR. <br /> The fertilizer will be distributed at a rate of 600 pounds per acre.
