NO.: <br /> 01400.2 <br /> Pre-feasibility Study TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR DATE: (ORIGINAL) <br /> Fremont County, Colorado GEOSYNTHETICS CONSTRUCTION QUALITY 20-October-16 <br /> PROJECT NO.: 74201633 ASSURANCE(CQA) PLAN REVISION: A <br /> DATE: 20-Oct-16 <br /> • Preconstruction coordination with the INSTALLER, ENGINEER and CQA MONITOR to ensure <br /> that the CQA Plan can be implemented. <br /> • Coordination of all construction activities associated with required CQA testing and activities. <br /> • Approve with the ENGINEER and CQA MONITOR specific corrective measures to be implemented <br /> during construction when deviations from these SPECIFICATIONS occur. <br /> ENGINEER: The ENGINEER is responsible for the design and preparation of the DRAWINGS and <br /> SPECIFICATIONS, and for confirming that the construction was performed in compliance with the <br /> DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS. The ENGINEER is responsible for approving all design and <br /> SPECIFICATION changes, modifications, or clarifications encountered during construction. MANAGER <br /> and ENGINEER shall be responsible for the resolution of all quality assurance issues. <br /> Additional duties for this position include the following: <br /> • Preconstruction coordination with the CQA MONITOR(S) to ensure that the CQA MONITOR(S) <br /> has performed a reviews of the DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS and that the CQA Plan can be <br /> implemented. <br /> • Approve specific corrective measures to be implemented during construction when deviations from <br /> the SPECIFICATIONS occur. <br /> • Ensure that required quality assurance testing has been performed in accordance with the CQA <br /> Plan. <br /> • Ensure that the CQA personnel are provided with all documentation required in the CQA Plan and <br /> project SPECIFICATIONS. <br /> • Prepare a Construction Completion Report describing the construction, any deviations from <br /> SPECIFICATIONS or DRAWINGS and details, details of all field and laboratory test data, test <br /> results (both laboratory and field), and statement that construction was completed in accordance <br /> with the DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS. The Construction Completion Report will be signed <br /> by the ENGINEER. <br /> CONSTRUCTION QUALITY ASSURANCE MONITOR(S): The CQA MONITOR(S) is responsible for <br /> performing the CQA tasks outlined in this CQA Plan. The CQA MONITOR(S) is a representative of the <br /> ENGINEER and has the responsibility of overseeing all CQA pertinent to the Work. In this CQA Plan, the <br /> CQA MONITOR(S) reports to the ENGINEER. The CQA MONITOR(S) has the authority to stop any Work <br /> that is not in compliance with the SPECIFICATIONS.
