Compliance With Mine Plan Y - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste N -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection conducted by Lucas West of the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and <br /> Safety as part of the normal monitoring program for permitted sites. Mike McFarland accompanied the inspection <br /> and represented the Operator. Normal activies were tkaing place at the mine during the inspection. at the King II <br /> area,the stackers and loaders were active and trucks were being loaded at the time of the inspection. No activities <br /> were being conducted at the King I area. The weather was clear. Eight Photos accompany this report to illustrate <br /> the current site conditions <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; <br /> Diversions 4.05.4;Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8;Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> King I Area <br /> All downgradient water conveyances around the lower refuse pile and facilities area were observed and appeared <br /> to be functioning as designed. The West sediment pond was observed, and had no standing water or evidence of <br /> recent flows. The West Sediment Pond can be seen in Photo One. The East sediment pond also contained no <br /> standing water or evidence of recent flows,it can be seen in Photo Two. Both ponds are in good condition, the <br /> banks appeared to be stable and are well vegetated. <br /> Barn Area <br /> The laydown yard and turn around area associated with Technical Revision 30 was observed. The pad area that <br /> was constructed was stable at the time of the inspection and all sediment control features appeared to be <br /> functioning as designed. Photos Three and Four show the disturbed area. <br /> King II Area <br /> The King II sediment pond was observed and in good condition.
