Young Jr. <br /> Work: (303) 880-0948 <br /> Cell (24 hours): (303) 880-0948 <br /> 2.1 Facility Description (40 CFR 112.7(a)(3)) <br /> 2.1 .1 Location and Activities <br /> The Young Ranch Resource Quarry is located along Central City Parkway in both Clear Creek <br /> and Gilpin Counties. It is approximately 3.2 miles east northeast of the city center of Idaho <br /> Springs, CO and approximately 3.8 miles southeast of the city center of Central City, CO <br /> situated at an elevation of 8,000 feet. The quarry is a construction materials operation that <br /> mines Precambrian metamorphic rock and overlying Quaternary gravel via drilling and blasting. <br /> Blasted rock is transported and processed using a portable crushing and screening deck. Water <br /> used for dust suppression and processing will be bought and trucked on site. Oil storage <br /> consists of diesel fuel storage for onsite off-highway heavy equipment, material processing <br /> equipment, and/or generators that facilitate site operations.
