Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N -Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> CONVOENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Colowyo Mine conducted by Zach Trujillo of Colorado Division of <br /> Reclamation,Mining and Safety(DRMS)on December 8 -9,2021. Tom Fry representing Colowyo Coal <br /> Company(Colowyo)accompained the inspection.The weather for inspection was intermixed with snowing at <br /> higher elevations and rainfall at lower elevations.High temperatures during the inspection were around 40 degrees <br /> fahrenheit with high winds.Gound conditions were saturated from raining and snow cover.Access was limited <br /> along some access roads due to wet and snowy conditions later in the inspection. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(l): <br /> All records are kept on site at the Colowyo Mine's office building. Please see the Division's Availability of <br /> Records checklist at the end of this inspection report for more detailed information. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14 <br /> Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2;Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br /> Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> Backfill and grading had occurred prior to the inspection within the West Pit. Spoil is being regraded and dumped <br /> from above the remaining highwall along the old rock crusher pad.Two new regrade reclamation parcels have <br /> been completed in this area. These two new areas have been cross-ripped for additional erosion control and has <br /> been bermed to ensure the area is clearly delineated and all potential erosion stays within the area. <br /> The dragline was operating in the South Taylor Pit during the inspection.
